Port Macquarie Public School has been nominated as a community organisation of note in the Greater Bank's Greater Mid North Coast Funding Competition. Please vote as often as you can on the Greater Bank voting page greater.com.au/greatermidnorthcoast to maximise our chances of winning $3000 in funding from the bank, which we would put towards equipment for our Supported Learning playground. As part of our inclusion program, we ensure students from mainstream and supported learning participate in activities and events together. Many mainstream students are eager to access the Supported Learning Area playground to play alongside their friends. Currently our playground is only accessible to students who do not require assistive technology for mobility. Our aim is to create a playground that allows all students access to a shared play space, including a sensory area to allow students with sensory processing difficulties a place to explore and be stimulated in order to increase classroom engagement. Voting runs from 9am Monday 2nd to 5pm Wednesday 25th May 2022. You can vote once every hour, as many times as you like!
